At Praise Center, we cherish children just like Jesus did. And one of the ways we want to do that is to help clean up some of the school properties before school begins. We’ll have teams of people (kids can help too) going to schools throughout the valley and making them look great before all the kids start school back up. This is one way we can show our community how much we care about them. We’ll have exact dates, school locations, and registration in the coming weeks.
We’re having a Family Nerf Night as our first summer event at the church. Join us for an exciting time of playing Nerf games and eating lots of snacks! Invite as many kids and youth as you can!
We are going to have a 4-week class on how to read, interpret, and study our Bible. We will work through Gordon Fee’s classic book “How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth”, have opportunities for question/answer, and hands-on practice of how to properly approach Scripture.

We are having our annual Christmas Eve Service, and we want you to join us! We will have some Christmas songs, the Christmas story, cookies, and hot cocoa. Come for a night of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are raising $5,000 to send 10 children (12-14 years old) from the Batwa tribe in Burundi to school. They will be sharing the gospel and helping people in their village to read and write in time. On Sunday, October 26th, we’re going to have a family Nerf Night! Invite your friends and neighbors to an epic night of fun! The church will provide the Nerf darts, and all kids need to bring eye protection and a Nerf gun. We’ll have snacks, and parents can participate in the games as well!

We are starting a new Men’s Bible Study focusing on specific chapters in Proverbs where we will discuss issues such as pursuing wisdom, guarding the heart, work, wealth, and so much more. Volunteer United is an event of fellowship, food, and training for volunteers and those interested in volunteering at Praise Center. We want our team of volunteers to be united in belief and mission for reaching people with the Gospel. Training will include groups for worship, AWANA/kids, hospitality, leadership and more.

Serve Wenatchee is putting on its annual Coats for Kids event. This vital ministry ensures kids in the valley have warm coats for the winter season. We’d love to have you partner with us in getting coats for this event, and if you’re able, volunteer for the event on October 25th. We are having a special service on Sunday, August 24th, where all the kids will stay in the service with their parents. We are going to have special songs, preaching, and prayer time for kids and teachers. Join us for a big day as we pray for our kids and teachers for their return to school.
The men are getting together to play board games and corn hole toss at the church. We’ll have pizza and some great fellowship time.
The Circle Youth are getting together for pizza and GAGA ball at Praise Center on Tuesday, August 19th at 6pm at the church. Invite a friend and come hang out for an epic night!
Students from five years old through fifth grade join us Sunday, July 27th, through Thursday, July 31st, from 6 pm to 8 pm for the ultimate pep rally! The Bible is filled with examples of God’s people shouting and cheering in response to His mighty acts of power. We will do the same by remembering who God is, what He has done, and what He promises to do!
